Wiñay Wayna is the name of this Inca site and also an orchid which grows in this area of the cloud forests of Peru.
Wiñay Wayna means forever young and you can reach this incredible Inca site located inside the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu hiking through the Inca Trail.
Inca Trail permits are limited to 500 permits a day, you must book in advance to be able to hike all the way to Machu Picchu.
There are 2 options to start the hike on the Inca Trail Km 82 or km104 of the railroad.
