Butterfield & Robinson—the world’s premier active travel company—has bolstered its roster of European adventures with five new trips to some of Europe’s most iconic regions.

“B&R continues to revolutionize the definition of an unforgettable trip. We’re using our expertise and innovative spirit to expand our roster yet again,” says President and CEO Norman Howe. “We’ve developed some great local relationships in these regions, allowing our travellers to access the best food, wines and cultural insights, making each trip meaningful and authentic.”

Rhône River Cruise Biking, from US$7,995 (8 days/7 nights)

Adding to the portfolio with Uniworld River Cruises, travellers will float along the Rhône from Provence to Burgundy taking in two iconic French regions. Historic riverside cities serve as landmarks between the world-renowned wine regions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône, while along the way, quiet roads offer easygoing pedaling.

Camino de Santiago Biking, from US$3,795 (6 days/5 nights)

Take in the portion of this historic journey from León to Santiago de Compostela, passing through landscapes unchanged since the time of the first pilgrims, stopping in ancient villages, and making your way along paths that have been trodden by millions of dedicated feet. Only yours will be in cleats.

Provence Rhône Biking, from US$5,295 (6 days/5 nights)

This Provençal journey begins in the natural reserve of Camargue where you’ll be surrounded by vast plains and lagoons. Continue through Provence to explore the vines in Beaucaire, visit the most well preserved Roman bridge in France and dine on delicious local fare.

Bavarian Lakes Walking, from US$4,995 (6 days/5 nights)

Stroll through this picture-perfect part of Germany, and take in the sweeping Berchtesgaden Alps, sparkling lakes and charming timbered houses.

Tuscany E-Biking, from US$5,295 (6 days/5 nights)

Hilltop vineyards, charming villages, lush vistas. Tap your e-bike at the first hint of fatigue and feel the wheels practically turning themselves. With lush rolling hills, medieval towns and meandering roads keeping it all together, Tuscany is a biker’s idyll.

The five new trips join a roster of longstanding favourites, including Italian Lakes Walking, Berlin to Dresden Biking, Tuscany & Umbria Walking and Puglia Biking.
