We start day 5 in the town of Baños de Agua Santa, known for its hot springs. We head down the eastern slopes of the Andes, taking time to fully absorb the beauty and magic of this bio-diverse region with its cascading waterfalls and wild orchids.
We end the day's ride in lower elevations, in the Amazon Jungle and take a motorized canoe to visit a local river community, where they show us how they pan for gold, hunt with blow darts and prepare a ceremonial drink known as "chicha."
We end the night with drinks and a gourmet meal at the Cotococha Amazon Lodge...
