About Us

The Explorer’s Passage The Lo Gyalpo Jigme Foundation, a non-profit NGO headquartered in Lo Manthang, have a partnership in place to help preserve the deep history and culture of the Upper Mustang region in Nepal. In an effort to help protect the communities in Upper Mustang, and to help their people thrive and prosper, TEP donates 15% of profits from The Myth of Mustang tour departures to the Lo Gyalpo Jigme Foundation.

How To Get Involved

• Clients who participate on The Myth of Mustang adventures will have the opportunity to take part in specific Foundation-sponsored activities during their tour. Examples of activities range from building schools to restoring monasteries to environmental projects.
