Wheels of Change

About Us

Wheels of Change is a non-profit organization that donates used bicycles to remote villages in Africa to empower African communities to create a sustainable enterprise. In 2010, they shipped a container with over 300 bicycles to the village of Ngoma in Namibia. This was established as a bicycle shop, with local healthcare volunteers trained in bicycle mechanics and business skills and earning an income from running the shop. The shop continues to run under its own steam, selling and servicing bicycles, and supporting local orphans with profits from sales.

How To Get Involved

• Donate a bike (or two or three)

• Volunteer your time to help load shipping containers
• Encourage your friends, family, and community groups to do the same
