This also allows us to exercise a certain level of flexibility and act proactively in any unforeseen situations. As your ground handling partner, we realized that your clients are the most important person to look after because without them, none of us can do business. All of our key operation family team members are local Borneon and Malaysian. All of them are seasoned hospitality practitioners with more than 20 years of travel industry exposure. Some are pioneers in developing inbound tourism business in their own areas. Together, we combine our individual strengths and knowledge to offer our trade partners a professional, reliable and complete ground handling services on the destination that we call our home – Borneo Island.

About The Owner :
MegaBorneo Tour Planner is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Khirul Zainie and Ailee Tan. Khirul Zainie Khirul is a Sarawakian originally from Miri OIltown of Sarawak. One of the pioneer in operating nature and soft adventure tours to Mulu National Park long before any hotels or airports existed in that area. With tourism marketing background and more than 24 years of travel industry working experience encompassing from travel agents, tour operators, airlines and hotel industry based in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Thailand and The Middle East, he has travelled the world. Travel trade market in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific has been his forte. Now, he is back home in Borneo and will be knocking hard on your door to invite you to send your valued clients to visit his home – Borneo Island. Ailee Tan Ailee is a Bruneian. After 11 years of working with a major airline company based in Brunei, she went to Australia for four years to pursue her degree in tourism studies which she accomplished with flying colours. Her personal interest in different cultures of the world brought her to a year stint as an educator in Japan. Besides Malay, English and Mandarin, she is also fluent in Japanese and seven other Chinese dialects. Now, back in Brunei, she teamed up with her life partner Khirul and is working hard to position MegaBorneo as the preferred ground handling partner in Brunei and beyond to the overseas travel trade. With her multi-lingual ability and inner patience quality, she is looking after the customer service and quality control of all MegaBorneo tours and services.
