Our network spreads in the Indian subcontinent covering India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan and over the years we have gained impeccable credentials in operating wildlife and cultural tourism.
One of our founders, Shri Kailash Sankhala was a celebrated personality in the field of wildlife. He was a distinguished forest officer with the Indian Forest Services and Founder Director of Project Tiger, launched in 1973, acclaimed as the most successful conservation program at that time. The other assignments were such as Director of Delhi Zoological Park and distinguished Jawahar Lal Nehru Fellowship for his research on the ecology and behavior of the Indian Tiger. He had Authored many famous books on Tiger, published in UK, USA and India as well as translated in Hindi, Japanese, Finnish, German and French. He has been acknowledged as the most distinguished wildlife conservationist in India and among the world authorities on Tigers thus called ‘Tiger Man of India’.
While Government of India started National Fellowship on wildlife conservation dedicated to his name, Government of Rajasthan on the other hand dedicated a state award for conservation.

Tiger Resorts came into being to maintain high quality of operation, service and an overall sophisticated experience of Jungle Lodges. We have established two Jungle lodges on environment friendly principles. Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge near Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha Jungle Lodge near Kanha National Park are both prime Tiger Reserves in central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, India. We have excellent rating by our clients for our concept, service and experience at our Lodge.
The company owns and manages our lodges on extremely stringent Eco-friendly principles with full commitment to Tiger Conservation and it supports Tiger Trust with its earnings and also hosts the field stations at the Lodge. Both the lodges are recognized by the Government of India, Department of Tourism and are member of prestigious "Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI).
