Individual travelers can join fixed group departures or create their own custom tour using our easy-to combine short trips.
We supply all our trekking tours through the Chilean mountain world with TOP NOTCH EQUIPMENT. We purchase our equipment from well-known manufacturers that certify best test results even under extreme weather conditions. Among others we use brands as Northface VE 25 expedition tents, Seal-line Dry-bags and Therm-A-Rest-thermomats.
We choose OUR ACCOMMODATIONS with the utmost care: we assure you neat and clean hotels and lodges. The welcoming and warm atmosphere of the accommodations often paired with a spectacular location is what our guests appreciate the most.
For our trekking tours we stay in cozy mountain lodges and beautifully located camping grounds to grant our guests unforgettable nights surrounded by pristine nature and countless stars. These overnight-stays give all our tours an even more ADVENTUROUS CHARACTER.
We keep the SIZE OF OUR TRAVELING GROUPS SMALL to minimize our impact on the environment and for the trips to feel more intimate so that you get the sensation you are traveling with friends. Throughout your journey you will enjoy sharing the wonderful views, the intensive experiences and all adventures our itineraries offers with your travel companions. Our trekking tours, soft adventure trips and expeditions are limited to a maximum of only 12 participants per group. Individual short trips require at least two guests.
For all of our trips we follow the highest ETHICAL STANDARDS when it comes to ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT. We aim to increase our guests’ awareness of Chile’s pure natural surroundings and the importance of preservation. Therefore we often go off the beaten path, camp out in the wilderness, practice leave-no-trace-behind-principles and always respect the unique fauna and flora of the region.
OUR GUIDES MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! All our guides are enthusiastic trekkers, nature lovers and superb experts in the country and its people. They have a profound knowledge of the local life and tradition, speak at least two foreign languages and love to share their own passion for the destination with our guests. It goes without saying, that they are all well trained in wilderness first aid (WFR).
We feel responsible for every member of our team: When choosing our MOUNTAIN PORTERS we follow the guidelines of the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG). We proudly carry the official IPPG-LOGO which you can find on our website. The salary for our local porters is above the standard rate so that their weekly pay exceeds the national minimum wage.
To get a better understanding of the personal fitness level a trip might require, all our trekking and mountain tours are classified with a TRIP PROFILE and activity level. With the help of these profiles you can easily find the tour that is just right for you.
