About Speyside Wildlife

Speyside Wildlife has over 30 years of experience in organising wildlife-watching day trips, tours and holidays in the UK and Overseas. We cater for a wide variety of wildlife watchers, from the dedicated wildlife enthusiasts to those who simply wish to include some wildlife-watching as part of their holiday.

Our Holidays are just that - holidays. Our expert wildlife guides will be able to give you some of the best opportunities to see the wildlife you’ve always wanted to see, but still give you complete, relaxed enjoyment, so that you can 'switch off’ for the week. The guides' enthusiasm is infectious and whether you are a beginner or experienced, young or old, they're happy to take time so you can enjoy the wildlife experience to the full. Small group sizes ensure individual attention, giving you the space to enjoy your surroundings, whilst marvelling at the wildlife, all in the fantastic company of like-minded guests, who share your enthusiasm for the natural world. We work hard to visit and seek out small, locally run, authentic accommodation; with local guides in remote areas and sourcing local food wherever possible – giving you the opportunity to truly immerse yourself in the location and get the authentic experience you desire. We also want to make sure guests see the wildlife they hope to and our guides ensure we watch wildlife discreetly and sustainably and we hold a gold Green tourism business award. We comply with the Package Travel Regulations 2018 and we hold a Trust Account for Non-ATOL advance sales and for all ATOL sales we hold an ATOL licence.

Evening Mammal Watching in the Cairngorms National Park, join one of Speyside Wildlife’s friendly, expert guides for an amazing evening’s wildlife watching experience in the Cairngorms. You’ll have the chance of viewing Pine Marten and Badger from the comfort of our spacious and warm hide near Aviemore, on the edge of Inshriach Forest. These wonderful animals come within a few feet of the large picture windows, providing great photo opportunities and views at close quarters. Though the animals are wild, years of understanding their nocturnal habits has ensured incredibly reliable sightings. This fully guided dusk-time watch is the perfect way to spend an evening with a difference and can be booked online.

Guided Wildlife Days Out, if you’d like a full day or more of wildlife watching in the Highlands, Speyside Wildlife can help. In such a vast area, where the special wildlife is thinly spread and elusive, you’ll benefit from our unbeatable local knowledge to find the species you most want to see. We’ll judge the weather, know the terrain and al transport is provided. Whether you want to see Golden Eagle, Harbour Seal, Red Squirrel, Ptarmigan, Bottlenose Dolphins, Crested Tit, Minke Whales, Otters or our more elusive species of Capercaillie, we can tailor-make an itinerary to suit your wishes. Full itineraries can be viewed on our website.
