About Tanzania-Experience

In 2007, Tanzania-Experience started with only one Toyota Landcruiser and a staff of three. Today we have a constantly expanding fleet of vehicles and a team of 80 permanent employees. We all work together hand in hand and through professional planning, we can guarantee smooth running of our tours. With our enthusiasm and passion for Tanzania, its people and wonderful nature we create unique and unforgettable experiences for our valued guests.

Tanzania-Experience has two operations offices in Arusha and Moshi, Tanzania and a sales and marketing team in Somerset West, South Africa. This allows us to provide the best possible service for the most important time of the year – your holidays.

While the company has grown over the last years, our ideals still remain the same:

Our directors Holger Wiebe and Henning Schmidt started the company. Originally from Germany, both now live in Africa. Henning is based in Arusha where he is the managing director of Tanzania-Experience. He has an extensive experience in travelling through various parts of Africa, especially East Africa. Holger knows Southern, Central and Eastern Africa very well and has made invaluable contacts in the tourism industry over the years. He manages our sales and marketing department in Somerset West.
