Fall Festivals Celebrate Vermont’s “World’s Best Foliage”
Montpelier, VT — On the heels of announcing it has the World’s Best Foliage, the state of Vermont is gearing up for a leaf season full of of fairs, festivals, and fun events.
Visitors and Vermonters alike can celebrate fall’s abundance with everything from an Open Studio Weekend, to a “pumpkin chuckin’” contest. Harvest festivals abound throughout the state, and there are at least 11 beer events in the months of September and October.
Here are some of the fall festivals found on www.VermontVacation.com, the state’s official tourism website. Beginning September 16, the website will feature weekly foliage reports, “best bet” driving routes, and a foliage forecaster. Travel tips and lodging packages on the website make it easy to plan a fall trip to the Green Mountain State.
