From now until late-November, Western Australia bursts with color during wildflower season, attracting thousands of visitors each year

  • Australia’s Coral Coast (July-November)—Top Wildflower viewing spots include Coalseam Conservation Park, Lesueur National Park, and Cape Range National Park.
  • Australia’s South West (August-November)—Almost 80 percent of the plant species in the South West region are found nowhere else on earth, qualifying it as a biodiversity hotspot. There are over 8,000 flower species blooming in the region during the peak season.
  • Australia’s North West(July-September)—The rugged landscapes of Australia’s North West showcase over 2,000 species of wildflowers. The heavy summer rains nourish the ground from which the beautiful flowers grow, and the rockysurfaces retain water during the dry months to sustain plant life.
