Tortuguero - Costa Rica's little amazon

Besides turtles, there is much more to see in wonderful Tortuguero. You can do a tour through the national park by canou or kayak and enjoy the amazing scenery of canals and rivers. The nature is simply beautiful and you can spot lots of wildlife. Monkeys, Sloths, birds crocodiles, caiman and many more. At the beach you can witness one of the most amazing phenomenoms in Costa Rica, the turtle hatching. At night, if you are lucky you can see the big turtles coming to the beach to lay their eggs. Tortuguero is definitely worth a visit!
