The Travel Oregon Forever Fund provides residents and travelers to Oregon an opportunity to own a piece of the state’s sustainability story by giving to projects that make Oregon a better place live and travel to. Launched in 2012, the Forever Fund has raised more than $100,000 in support of 21 Forever Fund Projects in Oregon.
Selected projects must support one or more of the following objectives - i) Accessibility, ii) Community Development, iii) Culinary & Agritourism, iv) Environmental Stewardship, v) Tourism Infrastructure, or vi)Tourism Product Development
The easiest way to help is to spend money at a Travel Oregon Forever Business partner during your stay. Because these businesses include the cost of donations into their products and services, a portion of every dollar spent is invested back into Travel Oregon Forever Fund projects. Another avenue for travelers is to make a direct donation through GiveBacktoOregon.org. In addition to donating to projects, volunteer opportunities are made available each year in support of Travel Oregon Forever Fund projects that travelers can sign up for.
