About AREA 47

AREA 47, located at the entrance to the unique Oetztal Valley in Tyrol, is Europe’s craziest adventure and outdoor park. It combines action sports and alpine nature to one experience.

More than 35 different activities can be done at the 47th latitude - whether in water, on land or in the air - and bring action and adrenaline kicks in an unprecedented way, beginning with traditional highlights like Rafting, Canyoning, High Rope Course or Ziplining. But there are also more special offers like a 20.000m² big Water Area including a Blob, a 27m high Water Ramp for Surfslides and Freeskiers, a 27m high Cliff Diving Tower as well as several slides like a High Speed Slide and a Slip’N’Slide. Furthermore, a 3000m² Offroad Area for Freeride E-Motocross machines or a 20.000m² lake for wakeboarders are just more examples for an unlimited and guaranteed adventure.

As in AREA 47 there is much more to do than it fits in one day, also accommodation is offered. The facilities provide different comforts, beginning with wooden tepees to standard double rooms and typical tyrolean huts. As a lot of action also makes hungry, 2 restaurants are offered on-site, so guests can choose between the Lakeside Restaurant (international laid out main restaurant) and the Argentinian BBQ (a typical south-american hacienda).
