GrassTrack Safaris strives to provide a life-changing and adventurous experience for our clients.  Our journeys will take you through the wild places of Botswana and Namibia and along the way you’ll experience abundant game, vast landscapes, and welcoming people.  Whether you want to paddle the Okavango Delta, climb giant sand dunes, track desert elephants, sharpen your photography skills, or learn about wildlife conservation we can design an itinerary for any interest.  We emphasize natural history and education on our safaris so our guests will learn about the fascinating ecology of the Namib Desert, the intricate behavior of African elephants, or the complex conservation issues facing Africa today.

We offer a range of camping and lodge safaris.  Botswana has some of the best game parks on the continent and to camp among the wildlife is the experience of a lifetime.  Our group camping safaris are an affordable yet exceptional value.  If budget is an issue consider these safaris.  Guests will join other travelers (and set up your own tent) but still experience the Botswana wilderness at a fraction of the cost of a lodge or private safari.  Our exclusive private camping safaris bring you deep into the bush.  This is comfortable camping with a private guide and camp staff to ensure guests enjoy a safe camp with excellent food and wine.  No experience compares to sitting around a campfire with a glass of wine listening to the sounds of the African night!  Clients wishing for more luxury may consider our lodge safaris.  Lodges are located in the remote bush surrounded by a landscapes filled with game.  Many lodges are small and accessible only by light aircraft.

Namibia is a fascinating country on the forefront of conservation.  We offer lodge safaris (and optional desert camping extensions) accompanied by a professional guide who will share with you their knowledge about the cultures, history and wildlife unique to Namibia.  On our Conservation Safaris, guests will meet researchers working on important conservation projects.  Only in Namibia can you track desert adapted rhinos, visit an authentic Himba village, and savor the tallest sand dunes in the world.

Our ground operators are local companies and the well-trained and professional guides have an intimate and extensive knowledge of the history and wildlife of each destination.   Each itinerary has been personally vetted to ensure guests will receive exceptional service and an exceptional experience.  We hope our guests return from Africa with a deeper understanding of themselves and of this beautiful continent.
