About Paragon Guides

Paragon Guides offers guided, human-powered, winter and summer backcountry adventures that explore "the other side" of Vail.

We specialize in leading multi-day tours among Colorado's famed 10th Mountain Division Hut system. Experience the huts in the summer on a mountain bike or with llamas trekking through the Rocky Mountains. In the winter, explore the hut system as the pioneers intended, on skis. You can travel to a single hut and enjoy fresh powder turns in nearby terrain or challenge yourself to a hut-to-hut ski tour over several days.

We offer full and half day guided tours in every season. Rock climbing, mountaineering, peak ascents, fly fishing, hiking, llama trekking, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, winter hut trips, snowshoeing, avalanche education, and custom/corporate group programs can all be done with Paragon Guides.

Our backyard is the Eagles Nest and Holy Cross Wilderness areas. Mt. of the Holy Cross, an iconic Colorado 14er, rests just south of our home in the beautiful Eagle River Valley. Come explore these areas with Paragon and experience the essence of Colorado.
