About Red Rocks Rwanda

Red Rocks initiatives was precisely established to see how tourism, conservation and community development can be harnessed .There have been different programs that have been initiated towards supporting the 17 UN Sustainable development goals.

Our initiatives supports modern agriculture practices to boost food production in rural areas.A botanical garden have been established in Kinigi near the volcanoes national park to help conservation and research.The garden also help in preserving traditional plant species have medicinal value.We also partner with local artists to develop their talents and induce them as conservation partners.We started an art gallery with the purpose to develop youth talent and help them in spreading the conservation message.We partner with local artists and promote art classes which signifies art with the protection of the enviroment for future survival of the mountain gorillas.

Our initiatives are geared towards bringing innovative solutions and tangible changes to the community living around the volcanoes national park.We would like to take this oppotunity to invite you to share your skills and ideas on the best practices to use tourism as a conduit for promoting conservation efforts and community socio-economic development to support families, and therefore help in the conserving the enviroment.
