COSTA RICA MOONLIGHT TREKKING

This experience is almost unknown to international tourists and shows places of extraordinary beauty... we choose the heart of Costa Rica.

We are in the Province of Guanacaste, in the north-west of the country and our adventure begins at night, guided by the light of the moon (and our flashlights).

To reach Cerro Pelado - a dormant volcano for thousands of years - we walk the path up the slope for about 1 km, then we continue along an up / down hilly terrain for 3 km until we get the viewpoint, ideal to enjoy the sunrise.

The show is amazing: the rising sun gradually discovers the wind towers of Tilarán, the nearby hills, the volcanic mountain range and, in the distance, Lake of Nicaragua and the majestic Pacific Ocean ...

Just wonderful!

To finish with a flourish, we stop at Doña Blanquita restaurant to share the typical Costa Rican breakfast.
