The Great Stupa of Bouddha - Kathmandu, Nepal

Seen here at night time, the Buddhist Stupa of Bouddha (sometimes referred to as Boudhanath or Bodnath) lies on (what is now) the outlying suburbs of Kathmandu.

Late afternoon/early evening is the best time visit as this is when the local Tibetan population come to perform their daily prayers and rituals.

Pretty much all our suggested Nepal Cultural Tours visit this World Heritage Site, but as all our Nepal Trips are fully customizable, you can always see Bouddha while in Kathmandu.
