Tiebu Nature Reserve for Sichuan Sika Deer is located in townships Donglie, Chong'er and Re'er in the northeast of Ruo'ergai County, Aba Autonomous Prefecture for Tibetan and Qiang Minority, Sichuan Province, with a total area of 27,408 hectares. The reserve is a forest and wild animal type nature reserve that mainly protects rare wild animals such as Sichuan sika deer and their habitats. The reserve is the main distribution area of Sichuan sika deer. The Sichuan sika deer is a subspecies of the sika deer, which is a national first-class protected animal, mainly distributed in the northern Sichuan plateau and the junction of Sichuan and Gansu.
