View Gongga Mountain from Lengga Tso Lake

Lengga Tso Lake is the best place to shoot the reflection of Gongga Mountain (“The King of Mountains in Sichuan”, 7556 m, Minya Konka). It is located on the back mountain of Bangmujide Village, Gongga Township, Kangding City. The linear distance from Lengga Tso Lake to the main peak of Gongga Mountain is only about 20 kilometers.

In the Western Sichuan Plateau, there are only a handful of places to shoot the reflection of Gongga Mountain. The first photo of the reflection of Gongga Mountain by the Austrian-American explorer, geographer and botanist Josef Rock should be taken at Lengga Tso Lake.

It is the best season to shoot the starry sky in Lenggacuo in summer.

We'd like to suggest to shoot Gongga Mountain from Lengga Tso from September to next April, and the best time is from September to October.
