Austin Adventures recently announced that for the 2019 season, they are returning to their roots… or more accurately, to their boots. Dedicated hiking trips will now share the spotlight with the company’s award-winning lineup of multisport, cycling, small ship cruising, family and luxury adventures.

“We’ve had many requests over the last few years from our loyal alumni travelers to expand or bring back our pure hiking vacations,” explained Dan Austin, President. The company listened; the result is a handful of new destinations and the return of traditional favorites in an impressive 2019 lineup of hiking, walking and trekking adventures worldwide.

This move follows Austin Adventures’ commitment to guide its guests, under their own steam, through landscapes sure to evoke awe and admiration.

“Something about hiking transports us to a faraway place,” said Austin. “It’s the crunch of the earth below our boots, the whistling of birds overhead, the wind through the spruce and pine. It’s traveling paths centuries in the making, yet as unique as our own DNA. Seeing the world by trail is the best way to travel.”

France: Provence Hiking is a brand-new itinerary that challenges already inquisitive travelers to become more so while walking through the history, culture and vineyards that particularize one of Europe’s most iconic destinations.

This new walking trip through Provence exemplifies the artfulness packed into all Austin Adventures’ itineraries.
