The Galapagos Islands are perhaps most often associated with Charles Darwin’s studies and their influence on his theories of evolution. While the islands are still a living laboratory for evolutionary change, their ecosystems have remained basically unchanged.
Among the most exciting things for visitors is the complete lack of fear that animals have of people. This creates a unique photographic opportunity where a photographer can get up close and personal with a subject, studying it from many angles and framing the perfect image.
