EverGreen Escapes has carefully chosen a selection of 2015 escapes that focus on small groups, high touch experiences, and emerging international destinations including Namibia, Zimbabwe, and an ‘alternative’ adventure in Australia.

Each 2015 Escape was chosen to exemplify the unique cultures, people and culinary traditions of the destination, with a goal to blend these with the natural splendor of the region. Whether it is the opportunity to explore Zimbabwe’s avian habitats, timed to coincide with the end of the rainy season, or the Kimberley Region and Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, the EverGreen Escape Artists have expertly crafted seamless itineraries that blend luxury experiences with awe-inspiring environments.

“Our goal in planning Escapes to each of these destinations was to inspire our guests to leave behind the digital, and connect with the natural wanderlust that we all share,” says Jake Haupert, owner of EverGreen Escapes. “We believe our Escapes help transform guests from the role of a traveler to a citizen of the world.”

The Northwest Zimbabwe Birding & Wildlife Safari (March 10 to 19, 2015) coincides with the end of the rainy season, when water levels are at their peak within the region’s wetlands and the area is rife with birdlife. The area also boasts a high density of Africa’s charismatic megafauna and other wildlife, including Africa’s iconic big cats and a population of elephants 40,000 strong.  Safari participants will experience an array of environments by vehicle and on foot with a dedicated host and highly knowledgeable local guides, retiring to luxury lodges and camps each evening. The price is $3,750 USD per person, based on double occupancy ($1,200 USD single supplement).

The “Other” Sydney, Rock, and Reef (May 10 to 27, 2015) offers an exclusive exploration of corners of the Land Down Under, an excellent opportunity for first-time and returning visitors. While most first-time visitors to Australia often visit Sydney, Uluru (Ayers Rock), and the Great Barrier Reef, EverGreen Escapes will be taking guests off the beaten path to a more behind-the-scenes perspective of Sydney and the Kimberley Region and Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, or the other rock and reef. The Escape includes a luxury train ride from Sydney to Adelaide, wine-tasting in Margaret River outside of Perth, and diving with Whale Sharks, and a visit to the unusual and magical Bungle Bungle Ranges in Purnululu National Park. The price for the “Other” Sydney, Rock, and Reef Escape is $12,400 USD per person sharing, ($1,900 USD single supplement), and includes all domestic airfare.

The Ultimate Namibia Safari (Nov. 5 to 18, 2015) brings guests on an escape to a country that is close to four times the size of the United Kingdom, but with only 2 million residents, making it one of the lowest density areas on the planet. Namibia is also the first country in the world to add environmental conservation to its constitution and a nation whose entire coastline is protected. This safari affords guests the chance to experience this magnificent and memorable country in a very personal way. Guests will be accompanied by a professional safari guide who brings an intimate knowledge of each area and camp or lodge that guests will visit, allowing them to share the local highlights while adding continuity and depth to the safari. The price for the Ultimate Namibia Safari starts at $6,950 USD per person sharing ($950 USD single supplement).
