Join us for a screening in Seattle of the Oscar-nominated movie Tanna! Set on the remote Pacific island of Vanuatu, Tanna is the story of Selin, a young woman of the Yakel Tribe who is forced to choose between the traditions of her community and the desires of her heart. Based on a true story and enacted by residents of the real Yakel Village, Tanna echoes of a classic Romeo & Juliet story, heightened by stunning performances and the evocative environs of Vanuatu.
This is event is open to film buffs and travel lovers alike. Bring your own camping chairs and snacks, and get cozy for a film night hosted at The Adventure Hub. Pizza will be provided, and both wine and soft drinks are available for purchase from our friends at Elsom Cellars. It’s like a summer movie night in the park, only indoors!
Form more information please check out our official webpage. Registration is encouraged but not required (we have to know how much pizza to order!).
