Peru Breaks Its Own Record On International Birdwatching Competition

The 2018 edition of the Global Big Day, held on May 5th, confirmed the richness of the Peruvian ecosystem where 554 brigades held a record of 1,490 birds sighted compared to 1,330 sighted in 2017. Peru is a true paradise for birdwatchers, which holds 1858 species in total and that is currently ranked in the third place globally.
