Seatrek Sailing Adventures is proud to present a brand new journey of discovery in the form of two, 8-day / 7-night yoga cruises from Bali to Flores (and back again from Flores to Bali) through the turquoise waters of Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands and the Komodo National Park, taking place from 08 - 15 June 2018, and 17 - 24 June 2018, and priced at only US$3,990 per person.

Entitled Breathe, Balance & Bliss: an Exhilarating Yoga Adventure to Bali, Komodo & Beyond and Life Force Yoga & Wellness Cruise respectively, these cruises take place aboard the ‘Ombak Putih’, SeaTrek’s beautiful 12-cabin ‘pinisi’ schooner, complete with wonderful service, delicious meals, delightful company, captivating nature, and daily yoga and mindfulness practices. This is complemented by land and sea adventures incorporating remote beaches, quiet coastal villages, volcanoes, rivers, waterfalls, tribal rituals and a magical lake, highlighted by the legendary Komodo Dragons, flying foxes, and indigenous birds. As always, there will be ample opportunity to snorkel and view the kaleidoscopic beauty of the underwater world, including some fascinating sea creatures up close and in the wild. We managed to take all our bheavy things on a cruise luggage service so we can enjoy our trip.

Led by international yogis Lindsay Gonzalez and Melody Massey, and in collaboration with Life Force, this is an all-levels yoga, meditation and travel experience geared towards anyone who wants to take their yoga practice out of the studio and into a spectacular natural environment, thereby expanding their existing practice, or, if new to yoga, immersing themselves in a dedicated daily routine.

Yoga practice, meditation, or mantra chanting will take place on the deck – or where possible on the beach, on the water, or on the top of a hill – with two sessions on most days, one at sunrise and one at sunset, ranging from energising to relaxing, and featuring breath work, meditation and hands-on assistance. Guests will also have the invaluable opportunity to learn and practice stand-up-paddleboard yoga on the water, especially within the serene, enchanted setting of the mysterious Satonda Lake, which is surrounded by a ring of dense rainforest.

The itinerary has been designed so that guests can integrate the physical, emotional and spiritual elements of yoga practice with play, exploration, and relaxation, aimed at inspiring and discovering individual and collective peaceful balance. Yoga classes are always optional with alternative activities available, including unlimited use of the stand-up paddleboards and sea kayaks onboard.
