The Explorer's Passage (TEP), the leader in historical-based adventure travel, is proud to announce the launch of the George Washington in New York adventure, the first in a series of planned historical walking adventures in major cities across the globe!

Guests on the George Washington in New York adventure will explore The Story of George Washington's greatest moments in New York City. From his reading of the Declaration of Independence to his inauguration as the 1st President of the United States to his leading of what is arguably the greatest military escape in history, we explore the sites and history in what was the first capital of the United States.

"Very few people realize that many of the most important events in George Washington's life occurred in New York City,” says Jeff Bonaldi, Founder of The Explorer’s Passage, a tour guide company that emphasizes adventure and history. "We are very excited to take our guests on an adventure through time where we tell The Story of one of history's greatest men."

The George Washington in New York adventure features unparalleled service and excellence that guests have to come to expect from TEP’s other tours. The three hour walking tour begins at City Hall Park in downtown Manhattan and includes a private tour of the Fraunces Tavern, which happens to be New York City's oldest Tavern.

Tour departure dates to begin in December 2016.
