Thomson Family Adventures Announces Music, Food, and Wine in Baja for Families with Adult Children

Parents and their adult children have a chance to experience two special festivals in Baja, Mexico

Watertown, MA – Thomson Family Adventures, the original family adventure travel company, is announcing two unique itineraries created especially for families with adult children. These two exclusive tours give parents plenty of time to 'hang out' and enjoy the company of their adult kids while giving families the chance to sample the fabulous culture of Mexico's Baja California Sur.

The first itinerary introduces guests to the Todos Santos Music Festival at the famous Hotel California, created by Peter Buck of the band REM, featuring local and international musicians. The festivities take place during the evening; during the day Thomson Family Adventures has arranged plenty of activities to keep you engaged as a family, including a cooking lesson from a local chef, an excursion to witness the grey whale migration, horseback riding, hiking, surfing, swimming with sea lions in La Paz, time at the beach, and more. 9 days starting at $3490 pp. Dates January 18-26, 2014

In May, Thomson Family Adventures offers travelers the chance to experience the GastroVino Festival in Todos Santos, an exciting celebration of the culinary delights and wine of Baja. Families have the chance to attend the VIP pre gala dinner and welcome reception while enjoying a full day of local food and wine tastings. Outside of the festival, guests also get to experience cooking classes led by local chefs, meet the winemakers and chefs of Baja, eat & drink in some of Baja’s finest restaurants, and other adventures like surfing, hiking, and horseback riding. 8 days starting at $3090 per person.
