In Tortuguero on the North Caribbean coast from March to October, Baby Green Sea Turtles are hatching and leaving the nest. They are attending a dangerous way to the sea. They are at risk to be caught by raptors or other predators and when they arrive in the ocean even more hungry predators are waiting for them. 1 in a thousand turtles that hatch in Tortuguero survive and come back to lay their eggs. If you want to witness this impressive natural process, we recommend going to the beach very early in the morning around 4 am or in the afternoon around 4 pm. Good luck!
