Bamba Experience was founded in 2005 by independent travellers who noticed from first-hand experiences that there was a lack of affordable options for people looking to explore the world in their own way. Bamba Experience appeals to any traveller who wants to immerse themselves in a local destination and have an authentic adventure, as opposed to having to take part in an organised tour for the whole of the trip. They have created unique travel products designed to empower people to have more control over their experiences while travelling. Bamba offers three core products, Hop-on Hop-off passes, Self-Guided Adventures, and Small Group Tours & Treks. Hop-on Hop-off passes  Bamba Experience now operates the world’s largest Hop-on Hop-off network and operates in over 50 countries around the world. Created for clients that want to travel with a flexible schedule, Bamba Hop-on Hop-off passes allow travellers to make as many changes as they want to their departure dates before and during their trip. They offer departures up to 4-6 times per day by offering public buses when travelling along highways, and private shuttle vans when going off the beaten path. Bamba includes lots of specifically selected experiences as part of their hop-on hop-off trips. This allows travellers to get the most authentic experience of a destination. These selected experiences also have daily departures and include the very best local guides. Self-Guided Adventures Bamba Experience is also a leading provider of self-guided adventures. Self-guided adventures follow a set route, with all transport, experiences, and accommodation included. The trips are un-guided, with local guides only present when local experiences are provided.  The itineraries and routes are specifically designed to give travellers plenty of time to take in their adventure experiences and do what they want with the additional time. Bamba only partners with the very best local guides/operators to ensure their travellers receive the best and most authentic experience. Small Group Tours & Treks Bamba Experience offers and operates its own Small Group Tours & Treks. These join in tours are ideal for solo travellers, or groups of 2-3 as we operate with a maximum of up to 12 people per group. Treks always include expert local guides along with accommodation, transportation, and meals. Bamba Experience only operates Small Group Tours & Treks when a qualified guide is required, otherwise we always encourage people to travel on their own either on one of our Hop-on Hop-off passes or Self-Guided Adventures. These tailor made trips can be made for HOHO, Self-Guided Adventure Trips and Short Small Group Tours.
