Las Terrazas de Dana Lodge was stablished on February 2015. We are located in Mindo Ecuador Cloud Forest, at the hearth of the Biosphere Reserve "Choco Andino de Pichincha". This area is a well-known IBA (Important Bird Area), home to 500+ bird species and one of the best areas in the world for birdwatching.
Since summer 2016 we operate flexible and extremely personalized Adventure Tours in Mindo & Birdwatching Tours in Ecuador, along with Galápagos Cruises, Amazon Forest Tours and Quito Tours operated by our partners. Something really important for us is to give the best personal service and real advice to our guests, simply because we have a privileged situation. You can always check our online reviews :)
Mindo Cloud Forest is one of the best options after a Galápagos Tour for guests that don´t want to go back to Quito, since we are only 2 hours from Quito International Airport (UIO).
Las Terrazas de Dana & Dana Tours is a family owned business with spanish management and ownership. We are founder member of the first Tourist Association in Mindo called "Asociación Mindo Turismo" and we take part as auction donors in British Birdwatching Fair (Birdfair), American Birding Expo and Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival.
We also participate directly with Mindo community and we have a strong focus on social responsibility and environmental responsibility. For us is really important to buy local products and employ local people from Mindo since we also give them training to offer a better service to our guests.
