About Dust and Tribe

With an emphasis on developing physical, emotional, and spiritual resilience, Dust and Tribe has been facilitating “growth adventures” since 2012. Through curated outings that combine novelty, rigor, and structured group work, Dust and Tribe participants discover hidden reserves of strength and compassion.

Our approach is not didactic. Informed by our awareness of Islam as “the natural Way,” we trust in God to guide us through His creation. We establish working parameters for each adventure, but it is the wilderness that teaches.

Whether through llama treks, kayak camping, backpacking, or learning how to surf or climb rocks, we work to build lasting bonds between one another and our environment.

We facilitate adult coed and family adventures, along with those just for men and just for women. All creeds are welcome.
