About Galapagos Islands Adventure (GIA)

Galapagos Islands Adventure (GIA) is a land-based tour company based out of Puerto Ayora, Galapagos and Bend, Oregon. While placing high priority on conservation and protection of this fragile ecosystem, GIA creates customized multi-day tours for individuals and groups, as well as shore excursions for cruise ship guests.   GIA's Galapagos operation is headed by Jose Luis Benavides, a 5th generation Galapageno and 15-year Galapagos Naturalist Guide. Jose's focus on conservation is matched by his concern for our guests' enjoyment of their time in Galapagos. GIA delights in customizing thematic tours for their guests as well, with some options being Honeymoon, MultiSport and Yoga itineraries.  GIA's operation in Galapagos is also staffed by Erika Jaramillo, Operations Manager. Erika and Jose ensure that each of GIA's guests truly has the trip of a lifetime.

GIA also offers extension trips to Machu Picchu and other locations in Peru.  GIA 's office in Bend, Oregon, USA is run by Kristin Fish, Marketing Manager. Kristin is the primary contact for media, travel agencies and all other U.S. partnerships including the ATTA.
