Royal Expeditions is a boutique operator specializing in off-the-beaten track India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. We do not offer packages; we create experiences – no canned tours when traveling with us! We have over 18 years of experience in hospitality and trip planning on the Indian Sub-continent. Helping to preserve and showcase wildlife is the passion of our company. We know the ins and outs of wildlife in India and the best times to maximize viewing. Our contacts within the wildlife conservation community are exceptional. We were the first company offering snow leopard treks in India. Want a more traditional view of India? Our course we can assist you. We differentiate ourselves by providing an up close and personal look at the culture and people such as picnics with locals, cocktails with our friends. For groups we pride ourselves on creating special events – learning how to cook authentic Indian regional cuisine, horseback riding to the Pushkar Fair, or even "camping" in luxury tents in the ancient fort at Jodhpur. Royal Expeditions was founded by Rani Chandresh Kumari, Princess, Jodhpur (Presently, Member of Parliament, Member Wildlife Board of India, Chairperson Committee for empowerment of women) and Vishal Singh. Vishal is a graduate in hotel management and MBA. He has been closely associated with the tourism and hospitality industry and has also help found Travel Operators for Tigers Wildlife Association (TOFT).
