Rick Thomson and Judi Wineland, company owners, have always had a passion for exploring the world, and when their daughters, Nicole and Erica, came along, they wanted to share this important part of their lives with them. What they discovered is that traveling as a family has special challenges. So they made it their mission to make family travel as active, educational and fun as possible. We strive to be the industry leader in the creation, operation and selling of the finest family adventures the industry has to offer. Through the addition of new, unique and exciting family features our clients experience vacations to regions around the globe in a revolutionary fashion by which we set ourselves apart from the rest of the travel industry.

We tailor our categories of trips to the particular age ranges and interests of our families, so we have Multi-Sport Adventures, adventures that revolve around Cultures & Civilizations, Natural Wonders and Wildlife, and trips specifically for Teens and Tweens or Older Teens and 20-Somethings. We also have a special line of Smithsonian Family Adventures we run with Smithsonian Journeys, and if any of our preset departures aren’t exactly what your family’s looking for, we can always arrange Private, Custom departures and Villa-Style Adventures.
