Trū Adventure Travel is a luxury tour operator offering Adventures in Culture. Based in Mercer Island, WA, TRŪ provides global itineraries for the aspirational traveler, including Japan, Alaska, Ecuador, India, and Costa Rica for 2020. We also offer custom itinerary design - simply tell us where you want to go. Small groups of 10-12 allow us to facilitate connection, community, and authentic experiences.
The bucket list and tourist traps are not our bread and butter. The hard-to-find, less crowded places are. The culture, education, and learning are. And, the journey we take with you are. Our special sauce is a deep dive into culture, through connection and education. Come home different, better.
While we are relatively new [as TRŪ], we have been leading trips for nearly 10 years in Alaska for Chinese travelers. Modern travelers crave extraordinary experiences.
