Basler Drops Skiers at 89°S

The Basler BT-67, a turboprop conversion of the Douglas DC-3, can land on skis and transport passengers to various locations inside of Antarctica. In this photo, a Ski Last Degree team gets dropped off at 89° South and starts skiing towards the South Pole. © Christopher Michel
