Lo Manthang

Once you pass through the walls of Lo Manthang, you go back in time. Time has stood still in this ancient city. Authentic houses, narrow streets, and an impressive monastery are a few of the many key features of Lo Manthang.

You visit the city after a few days of trekking in the Upper Mustang. The region is situated at the high Tibetan plateau. There is hardly any rainfall in this region. The beautiful desert barren landscape is shaped by the wind.
