Makalu base bamp Nepal

Great view at the Makalu base camp. One of the few base camps where you can get close up to the high mountain. With an altitude of 8481 m/ 27825 ft, the impressive mountain is towering above you. 

Trekking to Makalu base camp is a great adventure. Along the trail, you pass by authentic Sherpa villages. You will stay at basic, but lovely teahouses. The high passes, the Barun valley, and the mountain scenery make this a gem trek in Nepal.
