You Witness Some Amazing Sights

Maasai's revere their herds and all their actions are directed to looking after the well beiogn of their herds.   Blooding a cow occurs regularly and on one occasion, One Horizon came across this actibity.  The cows are not hurt at all.  The object of the actiity is to take some blood from the cow so the Maasai's can have a drink.    It is mostly mixed with milk.  At One Horizon its work in grassroot communities results in many interactions which few travelers woud otherwise experience.
