Take this opportunity to get to know a little bit about the native people from this part of the world as well as experiencing a diverse range of wildlife attractions throughout the Upper Amazon – climbing the giant trees, swimming with pink dolphins, visiting the tuiuka Indians, parasail flight, and navigating in black and muddy waters are some of the highlights.

On the first day we offer the traveler a brief explanation about the fauna and flora, regional customs, and the itinerary that will take place. We go aboard and begin our journey across the January Lake, which is a rich ecosystem full of birds, reptiles, exotic plants, and giant trees. On a canoe ride you can admire the water lilies, the pink dolphins, the tucuxi dolphins, the herons, the blue and gold macaws, and the parrots. We continue to the Solimões River, where we will have lunch onboard while we get to the “meeting of water” with Negro River.

On the second day we wake up at the Tupé beach, where a tribe of natives from the Upper Negro River lives. We will watch a presentation of some traditional customs such as dancing and storytelling. If you want you can also learn their native languages: tuiuka and tukano. After lunch, we will navigate until the Ariaú River, where we will stop to climb the giant trees. At the Acajatuba Lake we will visit a floating house where you can feed the pink dolphins and swim with them. At the end of the day you will have the perfect moment to take advantage of the darkness to have a ride and see the alligators and other nocturnal animals.

Anavilhanas is one of the largest fluvial archipelagos in the world and it is the main attraction of the Lower Negro River. Our third day is dedicated to this place: we will wake up with the sound of the forest. We will venture through water trails, bath with floats under the shadow of the Macacarecuia tree, and contemplate the nature. On the afternoon we will visit a native site to see the typical flour houses and the orchard of local fruit. At this same place we will go hiking for 2 hours in a primary forest to see the fauna and flora. Finally, we will set up a camp and we will enjoy the fire, the chatting, the folklore stories and the overnight on a hammock.

On the next day we will get back onboard and you will be able to choose to fish the piranhas or to visit the Seringalzinho Leisure Museum. After one of these tours you will be able to fly over the Negro river on a parasail ride. We will spend the rest of our day navigating to return to Manaus.
