Scottsdale-based outfitter Arizona Outback Adventures builds on long-standing operations in Grand Canyon with the launch of new guided hiking trips visiting Havasu Falls and the famous South Rim.

Adventure travel company Arizona Outback Adventures (AOA) has long been known for guided hiking trips in Grand Canyon. In 2010, AOA’s Rim to Rim trip was acclaimed by National Geographic as one of “50 Tours of a Lifetime.” Building on this impressive resume, the company is diversifying their Grand Canyon trip offerings with new itineraries designed to cater to a wider array of interests and hiking ability.

“The new offerings in our Grand Canyon product line were created for both the adventurous young professional as well as the seasoned traveler with greater time flexibility. With new departures and trip options to suit each of these demographics, we are better able to share the incredible Grand Canyon backcountry with a new set of travelers,” says Josh Kloepping, multi-day trips program manager at Arizona Outback Adventures.

Hiking in Grand Canyon with Arizona Outback AdventuresAOA has long been known as a pioneer of backcountry customer service, offering many adventures that “rough it” only enough to fall short of glamping. Each new trip offering for 2016 has been designed to expand further in both directions along the spectrum of comfort. In Grand Canyon National Park, AOA has made adjustments to their popular Phantom Ranch hiking tour and added an exciting 7-day Grand Canyon Ultimate hiking trip visiting the National Park’s South Rim Village and the world-famous Havasupai Indian Reservation. Catering to those who want the most extensive and relaxing Grand Canyon hiking experience, the Grand Canyon Ultimate allows travelers to enjoy the amenities of the South Rim Village and comfortable basecamping with all logistical details included.

On the more rugged end of the spectrum, AOA’s trips to Havasu Falls have been expanded to include a more strenuous Havasu Falls Backpacking itinerary and greater flexibility for travelers on their traditional 3- and 4-day itineraries. The Havasu Falls backpacking trip will venture into new territory by including all necessary backpacking gear in the trip price.
