Wild Planet Adventures, the wildlife-viewing experts, promises savings of up to $1,000 per person for the upcoming Holiday season, with limited space available and for new reservations only. Unwrapping nature’s mysteries is part of the fun of these international wildlife viewing expeditions, said Josh Cohen, founder/owner.

Following are per person double occupancy savings on designated trips.

Save $300 on a 14-day Costa Rica Ultimate Wildlife Eco-tour departing Dec. 14-27 or Dec. 21-Jan. 3 ($4,498). A 9-day tour comes with $200 savings ($2,998). Custom dates may be available for groups of four or more on a date of their choosing. Expert naturalistsand biologist guides lead specially designed wildlife activities (including night hikes for nocturnal animals) in up to eight national parks and wildlife reserves. The program includes a world-famous sloth sanctuary, whitewater rafting, cloud forest canopy tour, volcano viewing, hot springs, kayaking with dolphins, snorkeling at night in the bioluminescence, a hands-on wildlife rescue center and more.  See here.

The savings is $500 on both 13-day ($4,898) and 19-day ($7,298) India Ultimate Wildlife Safari: Leopards, Tigers & Palaces, each departing Dec. 17. (Custom dates may be available for groups of four or more on a date of their choosing.) This trip, winner of multiple awards, is the most comprehensive multi-safari available in India. It includes safaris to see tigers, leopards, rhinos and rare wildlife, by jeep, elephant, camel and rickshaw, as well as cultural segments in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Delhi and Agra, including the Taj Mahal (a total of four UNESCO World Heritage Sites). Departures are Dec. 15.  This trip explores remote corners of the country with unparalleled wildlife, exotic culture, brilliant white sand beaches and turquoise water. Guests travel to a stunning lakeside wildlife sanctuary surrounded by beautiful limestone karst, safari in the largest and least visited national park in the country, visit an elephant camp, Buddhist temple, a nighttime bazaar and relax on remote southern islands. Look for $500/per person savings on Borneo – Weird & Wonderful Wildlife for a 12-day trip ($5,498 for families of four or more) departing Dec. 22 and $300 for a private group of two travelers ($6,098).
