We are a Greek Specialist Adventure Tour Operator & Travel Designer that offers activity, cultural and special-interest tours. Our adventure packages and custom tours include hiking, cycling, kayaking, sailing, agricultural and nature tours, trekking and self-drive holidays. Culture, activity and entertainment, all coexist on our trips - a meal can become a cultural feast. Exploring Greek art and meeting local people are essential elements of our journeys. We avoid large hotel complexes, overcrowded and overdeveloped areas. We know the last few untouched destinations and the best season to visit them. We choose small, locally-owned accommodation and eco-friendly transport. Above all, we respect local people and the environment.

Our business has a strong background in travel design and organization of holidays that include activities such as hiking or cycling, guided cultural and thematic tours, mainly in Greece. In 2012, following the long family tradition, we created Gnosis Active Travel, a travel agency registered with the Greek National Tourism Organization. In 2016, we launched our new website, Active Holidays, in order better to describe what we do, and that is: We organize your Active Holidays in Greece!

We work with groups (ex. clubs, small groups, schools, etc.), travel agencies and people who seek holidays out of the ordinary. We organize your entire journey or just a part of it, offering you cultural, walking and cycling trips, thematic tours, educational tours, bus or minibus journeys and holidays that includes activities such as kayaking or sailing.
