Travel + Leisure has named custom safari specialist Africa Adventure Consultants as one of the Top 10 safari outfitters in the world for 2016.

“We are extremely excited by this honor, and would like to thank our clients for voting for us,” said Kent Redding, president of Africa Adventure Consultants. “We strive to create customized African safaris that are special for each of our guests, and we are grateful to be recognized among the best in the world.”

The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards is online now and available in the August print edition. It is a leading barometer of the places and companies that satisfy some of the most passionate and sophisticated travelers.

“The World’s Best Awards survey results provide an eye-opening window into what the most sophisticated travelers find both exciting and fulfilling right now. They are seeking out the unusual and the special, this year showcasing an obvious preference for far-flung, exotic, active, and adventurous trips. Even their favorite places closer to home show a desire for discovery and a willingness to explore and try new things,” said Travel + Leisure Editor Nathan Lump. “I say all the time that travel is important because it connects us to the richness and diversity of the world and helps us see with fresh eyes. I’m happy to know, based on the places and experiences our audience has told us they love, that they believe this, too. And I know that these rankings will provide even more inspiration for future journeys.”

Redding, who is also on the Travel & Leisure A-List of top travel advisors, said this latest award helps motivate the company to create new and exciting customized African safari options in the luxury and traditional safari markets, as well as the adventure markets. “We are very excited about new offerings that we will roll out in the second half of the year, including specialty safaris for families and multi-generational families, as well as honeymooners and photographers,” said Redding.
